Croatian Section is part of a global organisation dedicated to bringing together surgeons and surgical specialist of all nations to promote surgical excellence for the benefit of all mankind and to foster fellowship worldwide.

Croatian Section of ICS was founded in 2009 after permission of ICS Headquarters from Chicago,USA.
International College of Surgeons was founded in 1935 in Geneva by Max Thorex, a Hungarian born surgeon. Headquarters of ICS is now in Chicago, USA.
International College of Surgeons works through collaborative projects with the World Health Organisation, the United Nations and simmilar organisations.
